The CGT Grifols Trade Union Section the most representative within the Grifols Institute committee with 9 people in consensus with the union sections of ARE (1 person), USOC (3 people) Y UGT (5 people), that make up the majority of a Committee of 23 people.
From this CGT Trade Union Section we want to manifest:
From the 2019 the company decided not to agree or agree anything with the Instituto Grifols Works Council, violating majorities and negotiating only with the CCOO inter-company union section.
From then until now, Grifols has not stopped violating the rights of the Works Council, refusing to establish any type of negotiation or dialogue with the same.
This fact has caused us to have to go to the judicialization of conflicts, that the labor inspectorate is flooded with complaints and that labor relations are increasingly tense.
The day 2 November, the company convened the different union sections to discuss the new flexibility tools. The union section of the CGT We consider and declare that the works council, which is the sovereign body, had not been convened and that we were not going to participate in any farce.
Again the company and the union section of workers' commissions, minority in the works council (5 members of 23), they sat down to reach a preliminary agreement where everything except the flexibility plan proposed unilaterally by the company is agreed.
But when we already thought that this could not get worse, the company decided to sign a preliminary agreement with CCOO to violate more rights, both the Company Committee and the employees of Instituto Grifols. This pre-agreement, expected to sign the day 4 November in the afternoon, puts an end to the sovereignty of the Grifols Institute Works Council and definitively breaks labor relations.
They take away the power to assign the company of the dining room service that currently has the legal representation of the workers, modifying the agreement of the IG works council of 1995 ¡A minority union section modifies an articulated agreement of the works council!
They want to abolish the labor commissary (Establishment in the workplace that supplies basic foodstuffs at cost price, which is the same price that it costs to the company with supplier) is judicialized (Giving us the reason in all instances Social Court, Superior Court of Catalonia) and waiting for the Supreme court appealed by the company.
All in exchange for a day of free disposal coinciding with the birthday of the worker (for the direct labor force, that does not specify which departments / areas / positions it affects).
We will not allow them to continue to agree today to the detriment of tomorrow's working conditions
