The Court of Instruction No. 6 of Seville has accepted the appearance of the General Confederation of Labor in the procedure followed in said court, commonly called “case of the ERE”.

CGT presented a document of appearance last April exercising popular action in the preliminary proceedings against whoever or those who were responsible for the criminal acts object of the process, as well as, against those already reported and/or accused in the procedure.

Waiting to review the voluminous material of the performances, The position of the CGT in this procedure is aimed at defending economic rights, labor and social rights of workers and understands that what is aired in the complaint directly affects those rights. To the destination of public funds budgeted for employment promotion, for vocational training, to collective bargaining and employment stability. Highlighting that there have been hundreds of workers affected by the negotiation of the different ERE.

CGT welcomes the decision of the Court of Instruction No. 6 from Seville, while considering it necessary, due to the enormous social and union significance of this case.

The union has made its appearance as a popular accusation with the aim of contributing to the full clarification of the facts and demanding the assumption of all responsibilities., that can be derived, by the persons allegedly involved.
